Moving East Ethos and Welcome to Users
Moving East was founded by and is supported by
members of Tetsushinkan Budojo. It is used on a daily basis as a
hall for the practice of Japanese Martial Arts. As such, it is
not only a place to train the body and acquire new skills but
also a place in which to cultivate one's spirit.
We hope that you will enjoy the pleasant
atmosphere of the hall, adding your own creative energies. We
would appreciate it if you would enter in to the general ethos
of the centre by keeping the space tidy and giving it a sweep
when you have finished for the day.
The centre was established to promote inter-disciplinary
exchanges and co-operation. We hope that you will consider
participating in other activities on offer.
For martial artists using the hall, it is good
manners to show respect for the hall and its purpose by bowing
when entering and leaving. If others would like to help designate
this space as somewhere distinctive by joining us in this
practice, we would appreciate it. We leave this to your
discretion.
Please take off your shoes before entering and
leave them in the racks provided.
Please do not smoke anywhere in the building.
